Five Large Animals in South Africa

Great The word “five” was born among the hunters of a bygone era to describe not the largest of the animals they hunted, but the most dangerous.

They are lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. Each of these animals has a reputation for pursuing its attacker with intent to kill. Perhaps the most persistent is the buffalo that incessantly pursue his aggressor, making the hunting experience of life and death for hunting and the hunter!

All these mammals are found in South Africa, making it one of the most popular places for a holiday safari style.

In fact South Africa has embraced this rich wildlife heritage and welcomes visitors from around the world who come to experience the meeting of these magnificent creatures. Many of our hunting lodges offer luxury accommodation and facilities available for ‘bush’ holidays in the world.

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve in Mpumalanga province, for example, is probably the most exclusive game reserves in the country. In the absence of fences between the Kruger Park and Sabi Sands, wildlife roams free between the two reserves. Leopards are the main attraction, and these great creatures are so accustomed to humans that can even go hunting in an SUV. All the big five can be seen in Sabi Sands.

Other reserves and excel in the country where you can see the Big Five in South Africa, including the famous Kruger Park, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces, the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in the North-West Province, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park Natal Northern Cape and Kwa-Zulu Hluhluwe Umfolozi.

Visitors who are confined to the Cape region are often feel that they can not see the Big Five. However, there is a reserve of only 90 minutes from downtown Cape Town, Aquila, where you can see four of the top five. Self-drive or guided tours are offered by car from Cape Town – even day trips are possible, but it so desires, can spend the night in the accommodation made by calling 4500 hectares of unspoilt Karoo. The terrain is varied – from mountains and valleys to wetlands – ideal for game viewing, either in a 4 x 4 safari vehicle, horseback or even a quad. Aquila is home to four of the five large animals: lions, buffalo, rhino and the rare Mountain Leopard. It can also detect and giraffe and the hippopotamus not to mention herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and other males, more monkey, jackal, fox and bat ears.

What to wetlands, can expect to see many birds and personal life to complete the safari experience – all so close to Cape Town!

Those who can not travel far in the Eastern Cape – a pleasant day along the beautiful Garden Route – You can also visit the Big Five and other game in the Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve excellent – well worth a the visit for game lovers.

Safari vacation in South Africa is often considered incomplete without seeing the Big Five. Today most people are content to take pictures at home in live animals rather than skins and hunting trophies. However, hunting is legal reserves for those who feel the need.

The Causes of Stroke

Oil spills are a risk to the environment and can be dangerous or lethal to affected individuals and animals. There are a number of factors that can lead to oil spills, and many occur during the transport of hydrocarbons in rivers, such as the oceans.

Oil is usually transported by barges, tankers, pipelines and trucks, each with its own imperfections that can lead to an accident of the oil. Tankers and barges can be blocked or hit the ground causing an unexpected crack or hole that allows oil to escape. Similarly, the pipelines that carry oil in the ground may develop leaks or cracks that allow the oil seeps into the environment. Truck shipment of oil may also hire an oil spill accident. A little oil can escape as it moves from one vessel to another, a process called reduction. uncontrollable factors such as hurricanes and other severe weather can cause tank trucks or barges to destroy or damage offshore facilities, incidents that could lead to oil spills.

Oil spills can occur at other stages of production, for example when the oil is extracted from an oil well or be converted into other products at a refinery. Human error and equipment failure are common causes of accidents in these situations. Sometimes oil is still widespread intentionally as an act of war or acts of vandalism. Illegal dumping of oil is another intentional act that causes damage to the environment.

Since the import and export of oil is an important mechanism of world trade, often occurring oil spills in the ocean for extended international travel. The level of effort required to clean up an oil spill depends on the amount of oil spilled, the type of oil, the climate of cooperation in efforts to clean and the location of the spill. Light oils such as gasoline, tend to evaporate into the air, so it is usually easier to clean. A spill at sea are usually relatively easy to clean up a spill in a small lake where the spill cleaning is a complicated undertaking.

When oil spills at sea, the waves causes the oil to emulsify in water. Some wells in the bottom of the ocean where it attaches to rocks and sand. Part of the spilled oil is consumed by microorganisms in the water, and some breaks in the sun. However, some of the spilled oil is transported by the current in the ground, touching the sand, rocks, grass and trees.

spill prevention and cleanup procedures will be monitored by agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Coast Guard. These organizations adopt policies to prevent spills, cleaning the formation of oil and make the companies responsible for accidents.

Perfect Competition and Monopoly Market

The business continues to evolve and business ownership change hands as smaller entities are swallowed by larger companies. We hear all the time in the news, but very few people can name an example of monopolistic competition, or realize what the definition monopolistic competition is. This article gives a brief description of the definition monopolistic competition and monopolistic competitive firm.

Monopolistic competition is the definition of companies that really have a monopoly on their products, the company is able to influence the market price of its products by altering the rate of production. monopolistic competitive products that are not perfect substitutes, or at least perceived as different from all other brands.

In contrast to perfect competition, monopolistic competition the company does not produce the lowest possible average total cost. Instead, the company produces an inefficient level of production, harvesting more than the extra revenue it generates additional costs in relation to the level of efficient production.

You could say, to cite one example of monopolistic competition, firms that control the production of oil or gas are monopolistic. They produce the same except the image, but due to a relatively small number of companies control the large number of products, you can control prices in a slightly lower offer.

The opposite of monopolistic competition is a perfect competition. Perfect competition is an economic model that describes a hypothetical market form in which no producer or consumer has the power to influence market prices. While monopolistic competition is inefficient, perfect competition is more effective in meeting the demand and supply of production it deserves, then the inventory is not kept in storage for long periods or waste.

An example of perfect competition is some agricultural markets, where the offer is to meet demand. However, this example is not strictly the case in places like Europe, where subsidies are provided to encourage farmers to produce as much as possible, regardless of the application.

Perhaps the best examples of perfect competition, firms would be the auction of goods of great identical to all potential buyers and sellers of cars. By definition, an award like this. The flaw in the revision of the concession as an example of perfect competition is that large institutional investors (investment banks, for example) can only affect the market price. This, of course, violates the condition that “no one seller can influence market prices.

Three New Tricks to Improve Sales Performance – A Marketing Coach Casebook

Some years ago in Australia, I worked as a consultant for a big killjoy coach to set the end of a successful Australian consumer electronics marketing operation. I worked with them for three years, twice a year, traveling the country, four states, making their sales training.
The first trip was easy, technically based orders, and is still teaching now. What should I do another, and the third and fourth time around? The things that I discovered the work would probably be for you today.

Tip 1: Get the customer to say what he wants from you.

I decided to ask a customer. I called the number one retailer of consumer goods in Australia, this guy is a living legend.
“How many sales representatives to deal with you professionally?”
“Nothing, I’ve never met one.” The response was overwhelming.
“Would you invest an hour is a group of sales representatives how to do business with you?”
“Yes.” their response was immediate and I visited him on set.
In due time came and came into my classroom. The students were impressed and a little afraid of having to find and listen to the great man.
An hour passed rebuke to all sales representatives to make mistakes and I am sure that the list has not changed. A small sample:
• treated as a consumer ..
• The Total Focus function of the product – we have an X and Y and Z and its great.
• Not understanding the most fundamental question: “How could this man make money from the sale of my product?
• Lack of interest in my company.
• I have no idea how to configure a range of products, and position its brand strategy in E minor.

He spent the second hour to tell them how to sell. It was the training session in the sale easier than ever “ran.”
They were sorry, neglected, dissatisfaction of many when he finished, so it gave them a consolation prize as the largest single order that the office had ever received. Beer over this afternoon? You bet.
The strategy is still working two years later. So if you sell to retailers, to try. It’s free, and customers can not resist the opportunity to tell marketers what hurt.
You can do it yourself, and I offer. It is a great way to build relationships with customers. I bet you will get an increase in sales. You may have to adapt the approach to your business.
If you are a merchant, why not bring a dissatisfied customer to come and tell your people what happened and what the customer really wanted. You may have to give them a gift, but if one takes into account the additional sales you make, is the formation at low prices.
The host company, you get the client on their side, giving them the opportunity to explain to staff how they feel when faced with a system that can not or attitude.

Tip 2: A field day is three behind the counter.

The easy way to know what your sales people really need to learn is to have a field day with them.
As I did so I’ll make sure I was introduced as the new guy, new to the business and learn how to find my way. I would say very little, just hello and goodbye. I listen and watch and take my mental notes.
The hardest part was the support and strength to do the sale myself.
When we left for the next call, I would like to ask the seller why.

• When she says that what we really are looking for? What did you say? Why? What happened next?
• Why do you say no?
This sidewalk • Conference joke works better when things could have been done differently or better.

One day I was in a renewed vision of the behavior of sellers, their doubts, fears and blindness of the circumstances and signs of customer buying. There was enough material to work on two or three days of real training. And my credibility has increased because it was real, his world, and I could not only to teach.
The bonus is that the discipline of listening taught me that customers really wanted.

Trick has 3 Self-image

If you work with a team of sales for a period of time, you will see that self-image of a seller is reflected in his personal appearance. As his personal appearance to improve their performance.
I coached a talented salesman for a period of two years. At first it was really hard rough diamonds. Slightly scruffy shoes, unpolished, jacket and trousers, tie and slightly crowded. His speech was flawed, with the excessive use of jargon, and the question about the lack of competition. He was too friendly with some clients, and ill at ease with others. He was so professional and behaved. But he could sell.
Gradually, I saw her change in appearance. It has invested in a nice suit and tie and shoes match. There were regular pruning. He changed his speech to the elimination of slang. As the self-image needs to improve its clients treated with more respect. He was asked his opinion and responded to their suggestions. Its sales have improved. He worked hard to understand your business and make suggestions on how they could get their product for higher profits.
The last time I saw looked good, sounded great and was the strengthening of management at sales very quickly. He was not in sales skills, these were not. It was the image of independence and self-confidence.
The moral of this story is that all you can do to build self-confidence of a person will be profitable sales.
We hope you find these ideas useful and can work in a way to implement them in your business.

Keys to Relationship Marketing

How can we make a camp rather than a vital element in the evaluation of education and development of children? How can the free market access to massive and largely untapped medium that exists between the consumption of private fields for the most wealthy and religious camps and consumer non-profit “heavily subsidized?
Who are our potential partners in strategic alliances … schools, child care, providers of the experience of others, each other? How can we prevent or regulation to guide their impact is benign?
Who are the local industry, regional and national levels to provide unmatched quality, fair and competitive prices, and the leader of the sector consistent delivery of strategic alliances?
The answers to these questions will find those who:
* Are you willing to enter into strategic alliances
* Cover marketing activities aimed at win-win relationships, and
* Respond effectively to customer needs and requests.
Strategic Alliances / Relationship Marketing
William Finnie, a business consultant from St. Louis, said there were three waves of marketing in the United States. The first two, mass marketing and market segmentation and positioning, focusing on the achievement of individual sales.
Finnie and others to identify the third wave of relationship marketing, which they consider a fundamental restructuring of the practice and commercialization process. Instead of creating a sale or brand loyalty, your goal is to create a customer for life.
John Muir, said: “When we try to pick something for himself, it seems hooked to everything else in the universe.” Muir spoke of nature, but could have talked about relationship marketing.
Successful relationship marketing involves more than the producer or ultimate consumer of a product or service. It includes suppliers to select personnel, regulators, and many others. At the heart of the relationship marketing is the desire of establishing long-term win-win.
Win-win: a case study
When the education reform movement has begun to sweep the nation, Wyman Center addressed. leading educators were invited to join our board and working groups to raise awareness program within a network of educators and donors. Wyman staff were invited to participate in teams to design programs and advisory committees.
Armed with new networks and self-confidence, staff Wyman wrote a draft brochure that aims to revolutionize how science education is taught in a district of 7,000 students mainly disadvantaged. We have proposed to offer experiential programs, K-12, for all the sciences and to train all teachers in its implementation. The model will cost two million dollars in five years. Wyman was to serve as a key supplier of certain components of the order of about $ 500,000. We broker other services throughout the educational community.
We asked our contacts in the critical educational model. And we ask companies to finance the project. Yes, we were bold! And naive. “An excellent idea!” “Innovative and creative!” Attentive and desperately need! “Step keys. The project is funded.
Lessons learned: Frankly, although the idea was interesting, the process has been quite opportunistic and control. Our potential partners have been invited to confirm our ideas, not to participate in finding solutions to market needs. Our arbitrary decisions about what we do and what to negotiate was based on our desires and not on the determinants of the ability of the lens and profitability. Morgan and Hunt concluded that the opportunistic behavior of power and contribute to the failures of relationship marketing. And they’re right!
Friendly and educators frank constructive criticism and wise counsel. Continue and gradually expand our programs with the university and the school district. Three years later, when the same school district has decided to compete for a grant from the National Science Foundation to improve math and science performance of their students, who were called to the table for planning most of the players in our prospectus before. But this time, the process was fair. After months of discussion, debate, decisions, and commitment, of Normandy, the school district “Environments of Excellence” was awarded an NSF grant proposal for five years and Wyman Centre plays a leading role, but no paper principal. Our fees, although not $ 500,000 or $ 300,000, a figure that allows us to fulfill our responsibilities to the program easily. And more of our annual income to allow growth in this area and others.
Subsequently, involving the same partners and the use of a win-win relationship marketing principles, Wyman won a highly competitive scholarship Toyota Foundation plans to improve science education by experience in four primary schools in the city.
The key to the success of a camp or retreat center / conference is to look beyond their own needs and understand the needs of its partners.
Building trust
And Hunt Morgan argued that “To be an effective competitor requires … to be a credible partner.” They found that the commitment of the relationship and trust develops when two parts:
* Provide each other resources, opportunities and benefits unmatched by other
* Share and maintain high standards and values
* Communicate effectively in expectations
* Evaluate your performance and share market information about Justice
* Avoid opportunists, who would be at expense of other shareholders.
Meeting the Needs
The purpose of marketing, within and outside the associations, is to identify the needs of consumers and provide products or services that meet those needs.
Sometimes marketing is opportunistic, creating a market demand for a product or service that is already designed. The controversial “Joe Camel” character that is intended to create a demand for Camel cigarettes fall into this category.
Sometimes the market is receptive, the demand or need for consumers to find and follow the development of a product or service to meet demand. Saturn’s car is a response to consumer demand for quality with style, high, affordable transportation and no restrictions on the purchase or service.
Camps must be tailored to the needs of everyone in the world of relationship marketing. As seen in the lessons learned by the Wyman Center, the fields that they lose sight of the needs of consumers or the partners lose effective marketing opportunities. Those who agreed to cover marketing activities aimed at win-win relationships, while effectively responding to consumer demands, paving the way for more and more camping for all.

Machines, a Bright Market Prospects in China

China Machinery Industry

The machinery industry has a major impact on manufacturing in China. In 2004, the machinery industry of China accounted for 17.0% and 10.6% respectively of domestic sales and exports. The rapid economic development in China has led to a corresponding increase in industrial machinery. Almost all the international players have formed joint ventures in China, including John Deere, Daewoo, Hitachi, Parker, Sanyo, ABB, Emerson, Siemens and Volvo.

Chinese machine builders also increase its international participation through larger exports and a higher degree of internationalization. In an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.0% in 2010, consumption is estimated at 0.14 billion. In the near future, China will be a major player in the world market for industrial machinery.

Representative machines

1. Agricultural machinery
Today, agriculture in China is a new era of historical development. In a distant time, broaden the scope of operation, industrial management, sustainable development, and scientific and technological innovation in agriculture are the four trends and driving forces. The development and adjustment of the economic construction of agriculture requires a higher level and more possibilities for mechanization. However, mechanization has developed from the traditional rice wheat, corn, tillage to protect traditional farming, machinery for the production of cereal crops and oilseeds cotton economy, culture of livestock, aquatic products industry, fruits, gardens and farmland development of agricultural products, etc. Therefore, a promising market future of agricultural machinery.

2. Construction Machinery
Construction equipment is the largest customer of hydraulic products, which is approximately more than 40% of the total volume of hydraulic products market. This percentage continues to grow in the future. China is a vast development and construction period, therefore the demand for construction machinery in the coming decades will be rather than several, and China will be the largest market in the world.

3. Metals and Mining
The total demand for steel in China reached 352 million tons in 2005. Therefore, the steel industry and iron to accelerate the adjustment of product structure. During the next 10 to 15 years, focused on the manufacture of steel tray, especially in steel and products with high added value. State must increase investment for them and that self-sufficiency in steel up to 90%.
For this reason, China should use advanced machinery to replace the machine back for continuous production and automated equipment to upgrade and industrial scale. Meanwhile, China will give new impetus to the process of gathering the group for the steel industry, a technical review of manufacturing processes for large companies, do everything possible to increase the utilization rate of steel 10% ~ 20% take additional steps to save energy 15% ~ 20%. Consequently, many new continuous casting machine and cold / hot rolling etc. are needed.

4. Machine tools
With advances in manufacturing techniques and applications in China for high precision CNC machines, high efficiency, is increasing. In 2010, the annual output of CNC machine tools will be approximately 50,000 units. Now in China there are about 3 million machine tools in use, and is expected to machine tools around 4 million units in operation in 2010.

5. Plastic Machinery
The demand for plastic products increases dramatically depending on the development of agriculture, automotive, electronics, lighting, food, packaging industry and construction and improvement of living standards of people as well. At present, the value of total production of plastics in China has come to the forefront of the world, but the annual per capita consumption is only 14.5 kg 20 kg plastic less than the world average per capita annual consumption far from 50 kg to 100 kg per capita annual consumption in developed countries. It is expected 2010 to be slightly higher than the rubbish of the world average annual consumption per capita. The growing consumption of plastic products provides the opportunity to develop plastic machines. It is expected that the annual demand for plastic machines around 150,000 units by 2010.

6. Petrochemical equipment
The problem of energy is the limiting factor in a long period of time in developing the national economy. Accelerating development of power industry is of great urgency. States need to accelerate the development of oil and natural gas, with the exception of the project to deliver natural gas from west to east and other petrochemical projects are under construction in the period of 11 five-year plan should be built 5,000 kilometers of pipeline high Crude oil pressure. Also during this period, demand for oil refining, ethylene and three synthetic materials (synthetic resins, synthetic rubber, synthetic fibers) should increase the rate of 6% ~ 9%. So we have the collection and delivery of equipment for oil and gas equipment and large-scale petrochemical facilities and high performance with an emphasis on the development of large-scale oil prospecting and drilling the desert and the ocean, the full complement equipment with an annual production of 600,000 tons of ethylene, 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 800, 000 tons of urea and chemical fibers, etc.

8. Food products, packaging, electronics, light industry and textile equipment
It emphasizes the development of various high-efficiency, energy saving, multifunctional and automated complete sets of equipment and production lines, such as various liquid filling lines, lines of fast food production and food blowing sterile lines drug production and packaging lines, so that the bag and bag packaging lines, lines bag making machines, high speed processing of snuff, handicrafts Air-jet machines, coil and lines production of various household appliances and electronics.

9. Terminal port facilities
To meet the demands of nation building and expanded export and import trade, the task of building the port’s coastal and inland port is very heavy, a large number of ship loaders, dump car, piling equipment and materials handling container cargo will also be provided or upgraded.

10. The construction and ocean engineering equipment
In 2010, total annual production capacity of the shipbuilding industry will be around 10 million tonnes, 30% of annual global production, with emphasis on the development of large oil tankers at sea, ships gas liquefied petroleum, container ships, ships of engineering, bulk vessels, high speed vessels and offshore fishing vessels. engineering team focuses on ocean engineering construction scale for the recovery of oil into the sea while the yeast-drilling vessel, drilling machines, deep-water Heavy lifting, ship crane and piping erection.

11. Power Equipment
Currently, the supply of electricity has become the bottleneck, which restricts the development of the economy. Over the next 20 years, the largest electricity market is capacity in China. Water, coal, nuclear and gas are the backbone of four for energy production in China. It is estimated that the installed capacity by 2020 will be 960 000 MW, but the installed capacity to 0.67 kilowatts per capita, less than half the developed countries. In the future, every year need to add new capacity of more than 200 000 ~ 300 000 MW.

12. Environmental Equipment
To maintain the development of the economy, society and the environment are well coordinated, and environmental damage and pollution of well-controlled environment, the quality of the environment and the overall use of resources arise again, the State will add investment for ecological conservation and environmental protection. China focuses on development: urban wastewater and solid waste disposal and global material use, urban and industrial, and noise control equipment to control air pollution.

International Standards for Wood Packaging Phytosanitary ISPM 15 Regulation

This concern has grown in recent years about the spread of pests like the Asian longhorned beetle and nematode pine wood, since wood packaging material in the untreated wood provides a pathway for introduction and the spread of these parasites.

In order to protect fish stocks in the world of trees and forests, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) has adopted regulatory measures to control the global movement of wooden packaging in the form of ISPM15.

Did I affect you?
If packing for the export of wood containing wood, such as new or reconditioned pallets, boxes, crates, cable reels, etc. inside or outside the European Union, which will be affected by these new regulations.

Packaging that is made solely from manufactured panels, such as plywood, OSB and particle board and is free.

The new regulations apply to all arrivals at destination ports, airports, etc. This means that all transfers will be processed approximately eight weeks prior to shipment transit time.

How do I comply?
The approved measures were adopted include:

Heat treatment of wood packaging, which requires heating the wood to a minimum internal temperature of 56C for at least 30 minutes (HT).
or
Fumigation with Methyl Bromide (MB) of the specification.

To access the system, manufacturers must demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the third appraiser. registered manufacturers are entitled to use the ISPM15 mark, which includes the countries of origin and registration number of a single manufacturer

Rowlinson Packaging has been the leading manufacturer of wooden boxes in the United Kingdom to purchase and install a heat chamber, specially designed for heat treatment.

This allows them to be treated or finished wood boxes and pallets of its site at Wardle in Cheshire, in the most economical way.

Treatment (HT and MB) lasts a lifetime, so there is no need to return to returnable packaging.
