China Machinery Industry

The machinery industry has a major impact on manufacturing in China. In 2004, the machinery industry of China accounted for 17.0% and 10.6% respectively of domestic sales and exports. The rapid economic development in China has led to a corresponding increase in industrial machinery. Almost all the international players have formed joint ventures in China, including John Deere, Daewoo, Hitachi, Parker, Sanyo, ABB, Emerson, Siemens and Volvo.

Chinese machine builders also increase its international participation through larger exports and a higher degree of internationalization. In an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.0% in 2010, consumption is estimated at 0.14 billion. In the near future, China will be a major player in the world market for industrial machinery.

Representative machines

1. Agricultural machinery
Today, agriculture in China is a new era of historical development. In a distant time, broaden the scope of operation, industrial management, sustainable development, and scientific and technological innovation in agriculture are the four trends and driving forces. The development and adjustment of the economic construction of agriculture requires a higher level and more possibilities for mechanization. However, mechanization has developed from the traditional rice wheat, corn, tillage to protect traditional farming, machinery for the production of cereal crops and oilseeds cotton economy, culture of livestock, aquatic products industry, fruits, gardens and farmland development of agricultural products, etc. Therefore, a promising market future of agricultural machinery.

2. Construction Machinery
Construction equipment is the largest customer of hydraulic products, which is approximately more than 40% of the total volume of hydraulic products market. This percentage continues to grow in the future. China is a vast development and construction period, therefore the demand for construction machinery in the coming decades will be rather than several, and China will be the largest market in the world.

3. Metals and Mining
The total demand for steel in China reached 352 million tons in 2005. Therefore, the steel industry and iron to accelerate the adjustment of product structure. During the next 10 to 15 years, focused on the manufacture of steel tray, especially in steel and products with high added value. State must increase investment for them and that self-sufficiency in steel up to 90%.
For this reason, China should use advanced machinery to replace the machine back for continuous production and automated equipment to upgrade and industrial scale. Meanwhile, China will give new impetus to the process of gathering the group for the steel industry, a technical review of manufacturing processes for large companies, do everything possible to increase the utilization rate of steel 10% ~ 20% take additional steps to save energy 15% ~ 20%. Consequently, many new continuous casting machine and cold / hot rolling etc. are needed.

4. Machine tools
With advances in manufacturing techniques and applications in China for high precision CNC machines, high efficiency, is increasing. In 2010, the annual output of CNC machine tools will be approximately 50,000 units. Now in China there are about 3 million machine tools in use, and is expected to machine tools around 4 million units in operation in 2010.

5. Plastic Machinery
The demand for plastic products increases dramatically depending on the development of agriculture, automotive, electronics, lighting, food, packaging industry and construction and improvement of living standards of people as well. At present, the value of total production of plastics in China has come to the forefront of the world, but the annual per capita consumption is only 14.5 kg 20 kg plastic less than the world average per capita annual consumption far from 50 kg to 100 kg per capita annual consumption in developed countries. It is expected 2010 to be slightly higher than the rubbish of the world average annual consumption per capita. The growing consumption of plastic products provides the opportunity to develop plastic machines. It is expected that the annual demand for plastic machines around 150,000 units by 2010.

6. Petrochemical equipment
The problem of energy is the limiting factor in a long period of time in developing the national economy. Accelerating development of power industry is of great urgency. States need to accelerate the development of oil and natural gas, with the exception of the project to deliver natural gas from west to east and other petrochemical projects are under construction in the period of 11 five-year plan should be built 5,000 kilometers of pipeline high Crude oil pressure. Also during this period, demand for oil refining, ethylene and three synthetic materials (synthetic resins, synthetic rubber, synthetic fibers) should increase the rate of 6% ~ 9%. So we have the collection and delivery of equipment for oil and gas equipment and large-scale petrochemical facilities and high performance with an emphasis on the development of large-scale oil prospecting and drilling the desert and the ocean, the full complement equipment with an annual production of 600,000 tons of ethylene, 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 800, 000 tons of urea and chemical fibers, etc.

8. Food products, packaging, electronics, light industry and textile equipment
It emphasizes the development of various high-efficiency, energy saving, multifunctional and automated complete sets of equipment and production lines, such as various liquid filling lines, lines of fast food production and food blowing sterile lines drug production and packaging lines, so that the bag and bag packaging lines, lines bag making machines, high speed processing of snuff, handicrafts Air-jet machines, coil and lines production of various household appliances and electronics.

9. Terminal port facilities
To meet the demands of nation building and expanded export and import trade, the task of building the port’s coastal and inland port is very heavy, a large number of ship loaders, dump car, piling equipment and materials handling container cargo will also be provided or upgraded.

10. The construction and ocean engineering equipment
In 2010, total annual production capacity of the shipbuilding industry will be around 10 million tonnes, 30% of annual global production, with emphasis on the development of large oil tankers at sea, ships gas liquefied petroleum, container ships, ships of engineering, bulk vessels, high speed vessels and offshore fishing vessels. engineering team focuses on ocean engineering construction scale for the recovery of oil into the sea while the yeast-drilling vessel, drilling machines, deep-water Heavy lifting, ship crane and piping erection.

11. Power Equipment
Currently, the supply of electricity has become the bottleneck, which restricts the development of the economy. Over the next 20 years, the largest electricity market is capacity in China. Water, coal, nuclear and gas are the backbone of four for energy production in China. It is estimated that the installed capacity by 2020 will be 960 000 MW, but the installed capacity to 0.67 kilowatts per capita, less than half the developed countries. In the future, every year need to add new capacity of more than 200 000 ~ 300 000 MW.

International Standards for Wood Packaging Phytosanitary ISPM 15 Regulation

This concern has grown in recent years about the spread of pests like the Asian longhorned beetle and nematode pine wood, since wood packaging material in the untreated wood provides a pathway for introduction and the spread of these parasites.

In order to protect fish stocks in the world of trees and forests, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) has adopted regulatory measures to control the global movement of wooden packaging in the form of ISPM15.

Did I affect you?
If packing for the export of wood containing wood, such as new or reconditioned pallets, boxes, crates, cable reels, etc. inside or outside the European Union, which will be affected by these new regulations.

Packaging that is made solely from manufactured panels, such as plywood, OSB and particle board and is free.

The new regulations apply to all arrivals at destination ports, airports, etc. This means that all transfers will be processed approximately eight weeks prior to shipment transit time.

How do I comply?
The approved measures were adopted include:

Heat treatment of wood packaging, which requires heating the wood to a minimum internal temperature of 56C for at least 30 minutes (HT).
or
Fumigation with Methyl Bromide (MB) of the specification.

To access the system, manufacturers must demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the third appraiser. registered manufacturers are entitled to use the ISPM15 mark, which includes the countries of origin and registration number of a single manufacturer
